Next Exhibit: "Small Works in a Small Town"

Artists' Gallery in Lambertville, NJ will be hosting a small works exhibit in the feature Salon (in addition to the normal gallery exhibition spaces).

One of the small paintings I will have on display is one of my favorites, "Lovie Dovie".  Framed with a soft silver and white dimensional conservation matting, with museum glass, the size including frame is 12" x 11.5".  I'll also be presenting a few new watercolor paintings and a charcoal portrait throughout the gallery, as well as limited edition giclee prints and greeting cards.

Holidays at Artists' Gallery

Join all of the Artists' Gallery artists (which includes me) for an opening reception on Saturday December 6, 4 to 7pm. This is a great chance to meet with quite a few of our artists and see a gallery full of wonderful work! This exhibit runs through February 1, 2015—in Lambertville, NJ.

I will have a few new works on display including my new series of macaws. "Hi There" 1,  2, and 3. (pictured: "Hi There" #3 is a Military Macaw). These small paintings are part of a few new pieces that I've done exploring a more intimate/close range encounter.

Also displayed at Artists' Gallery this month are my original paintings: "Stalk Walk"-ring-necked pheasant, "Silent Flight"-barn owl, "Red Flyer"-cardinal, "Sun Song"-swamp sparrow, "Red-winged blackbird", "Lovie Dovie"-mourning doves, "Ah Go Ketch She Eye"-violaceous euphonias, "Twist"-white bearded manikin, and "Play Ball"-mixed breed (my dog, Buttons).  As always, I will have a selection of my limited edition prints available. Lambertville for the Holidays

I had a great time at Artists' Gallery opening reception last Saturday! It's a great time of year when all 18 of the artists display their work in a group exhibit.  I had the opportunity to help hang the show, and I must say it's a great grouping of work!

I have a few new watercolor paintings at the gallery including; In Pain Sight (screech owl), Golden Eagle, Northern Cardinal, Twisted (Manikin on a Monkey-ladder vine), Feathered and some of my favorites that "feel wintery" including Red Flyer  (N. Cardinal), Stalk Walk (Ring-necked Pheasant), Lovie Dovie (Mourning doves) and Silent Flight  (Barn Owl). There is also a selection of my giclée prints available.

Lambertville, NJ has a nostalgic feel near the Delaware River, it has a nice variety of antique shops, galleries, and other unique stores as well as a great variety of restaurants. If you're in the area, stop in Artists' Gallery at 18 Bridge Street, we're open Thurs. through Sunday, 11am-6pm and meet one of our artists. The Holiday Exhibit will be up through January.
